Record contracts can't be far away, can they?

One of my best memories of the 70s was eating pizza on my best friend's Skylark on Friday nights. The pizza joint we went to was a bit dark and scuzzy, so we'd order the pizza to go, grab a 6-pack of RC cola (we were like 16 and 17 respectively) and head out to the hood of the Skylark. The car had a permanent grease spot on the hood where we sat the pizza each week. Great summer.

1977:
We did not have cell phones... we had Pay Phones at the local gas stations.

We did not have i-Pods... we had our tape decks in our cars.

We did not have MP3s... we had audio cassettes.

We did not have the internet... we had porn shops and strip clubs.

We did not have Cable or Satellite TVs... we had movie theatres.

We did not have MySpace/FaceBook crap... we had REAL lives.

But, I'm having a TON of fun with this shit now, so Bud and his gang will have to just be part of the internet now! Ironic, eh?
